Attractions wonderful around the hotel, we stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and were very pleased. Will stay there again. Close to all Moody Garden activities and Lone Star Flight Museum (highly recomend). Staff was great, those working with children were wonderful. Pool bar was nice feature as well. Did have a problem with mini frig in room and called but no one ever came. I worked on it and found lose wire and fixed it myself. Also maid service was great first day, but they did less each day and also the same thing at night. Overall great experience. Whether it is winter or summer the hotel offers tons of things to do with excellent service. This Tonya person who commented previously about the rooms is sadly mistaken. You can't find a better room on the island..There isn't one! Festival of Lights was going on. The hotel was decked out with xmas decore'. room service was so yummy. the service was friendly. I treated my husband to a flower bubble bath at the spa. the spa staff professional, friendly, and very clean. great products! I regret not getting into their fab pool! tonya 5/14/2008 10:43:00 PM We have stayed there 2 times over the past year. The first stay we had a damp room. The ice machine was broke on our floor so if you needed ice you had to go to another floor. The second time we stayed there was constuction going on on our floor and it was often nosiy. To be honest the rooms suck but we love the moody gardens attraction and the hotel pool is nice so we keep going back for more punishment.
