Photo Welcome to Islander East, affordable condominiums on Galveston Island’s beautiful East Beach.

At Islander East, it’s easy to feel the sand between your toes, revel in the lapping waves, and slowly allow yourself to become a child... all over again.

It’s time to escape to the sparkling Gulf of Mexico and visit beautiful Galveston Island. Relaxation awaits you at Islander East.

Islander East Resort is located on the beach, one of the very few places on Galveston Island where you can either rent or own a condominium.

As you drive up to this resort, you are entering a world truly off the coast... a private retreat surrounded by sand dunes, the bay, the beach and the Gulf of Mexico.

Although there is isolated beach on both sides of Islander East, we are located between the two largest commercial beaches on the Island... Stewart and Apffel. Both parks are within walking distance of Islander East and hold many special events in which you may wish to participate, such as the sandcastle competition in June, and numerous professional volleyball tournaments, just to name a few.

Virginia McDermott9/26/2008 11:16:00 AMPost Hurricane Ike 2008. My family of 3 adults (plus 2 full-sized teens) stayed here back in 2005. We absolutely loved it! The Condo's price was reasonable & large enough to comfortably accomodate all of us. We adored the sunrises & views while sitting on our balcony each morning w/coffee. We'd also sit out on the balcony to watch the pelicans fly by. Getting to the beach was a snap since we didn't have to cross the street or seawall, to enjoy it. I came here today to check-up on our beloved condo, hoping it wasn't too damaged by the Hurricane. Our thoughts and prayers go out to all of you at The Islander East. We hope to be able to return again, soon!
Tracy7/23/2008 6:31:00 PMGreat family-friendly, quiet condos. Older than others, but great for the $$. Not high-end, fancy, but great for a family on a budget. Clean and pretty well-stocked, great beach.
P. S. Osburn7/7/2008 5:46:00 PMToo small for 5 adults, furnishings were very old and outdated, sofa sleeper and twin beds very uncomfortable, kitchenette was not usable for anything except breakfast and sandwiches, room looked nothing like virtual tour pictures. Desk personnel very rude at time of check in. Very dissapointed.
