David7/22/2008 8:18:00 PMMy buddy drove down from Iowa for this fishing 12 hour fishing trip. On which we spent 5 hours getting to our fishing spot, we then fished for less than 3 hours, so needless to say I was not very happy about the whole experience. To compound things the boat had what seem to be over 100 people on it and half the 3 hours of fishing spent trying to untangle our lines with the other people. So in all on the 12 hour trip we spent about 1 to 2 hours actually fishing. We talked to some people that had taken the 4 hr bay trip and fished for the same amount of time. Take my word for it and spend a little extra money or check into something like this before you waste your time and money.
Joe Buttermark7/21/2008 9:10:00 AMGreat boat My son and I Had a GREAT time . Caught a 23LB red snapper was great catch . Being from a family of North East Commercial fisherman this boat was spotless and deckhands were great . The capt. got us on some good fishing as well . First time in the gulf and would go back any time . Compared to Head boats up north the food and drinks were very cheap and very good . Tackle was simple and worked good. Bait was fresh and no need to buy outside bait we caught everything on what the boat provided. Thanks For a great day at sea.
Tucker7/13/2008 8:23:00 AMWent on 4 hr bay fishing trip. People were nice, but my husband and 8 yr old only caught three small fish. Spent alot of time driving around. But, they did see dolphins. For the money- this was a good deal. Only $25 adult, $20 child.
pablo gonzalez7/12/2008 4:39:00 PMfront desk people are rude need to go to class ===people on the boat good people
Christina Colclough6/1/2008 10:41:00 AMThey went out on time both days we went, with full attendance. We caught a lot of fish, there were so many that we were giving them to eachother. The crew and staff were helpful to our four (4) children. In short, we're going back again, and we definately recomend this fishing experience!
Johnson5/17/2008 9:04:00 AMI would strongly reccommend skipping this fishing trip. We made reservations a week prior to coming, they called and canceled the night before because they did not have enough people to take out on the boat. We called them back to reschedule and set it for a day that they were "positive" the trip was on. We spent the entire morning preparing for the trip and based our entire vacation day around it. Only to arrive to find out they had canceled AGAIN. Except this time they did not have the common courtesy to let us know beforehand. They were very rude at the front desk and actually had the nerve to tell me I had never called them back to reschedule. (like I had just decided to randomly go up there) I would not recommend this place.
