The room was clean, the staff was friendly, the gulf view and breeze was amazing and the price can not be beat anywhere on the island! The room sleeps 6 comfortable and has plenty of room for the kiddos and adults to linger in the day also. If you are reading this trust me when I say reserve your room now. We expected a lot from this hotel & it was the "icing on the cake" to a wonderful vacation. The rooms were exactly as shown on the web page (which is not always the case), well stocked with all the items listed, & the view from the balcony was priceless, just sitting there with a cold drink watching the world go by was so relaxing. After the drive from Corpus Christi the pool was as welcoming as the staff, Tina & all the staff couldn't have been more friendly nor helpful (giving us guys from "out of state" very useful tips about the Island). It's was family friendly,economic, and clean. The only thing you need to bring is your family and clothing. Once there I would suggest making a stop at the grocery store witch are a few blocks away in either direction. I would recommend Casa del Mar. Our sons ages 18,15 and 8 were with us,and we had no problem with the size of the room. I highly recommend it here! We would love to visit Galveston again and we would surely stay here again. The rooms were clean and the small concerns that we had were addressed with lightning speed. The location is ideal and the staff was incredibly friendly. We definitely plan to return. There was dust, mildew, and who knows what in that room. The rooms are always clean and the staff is very friendly. We have always been pleased. There is security on site 24/7 so it is safe too. The renovations to the outside are beautiful!
